Description
24.74m Damen ATD 2412 Tractor tug built 2014 by Damen Shipyards, Haiphong, Vietnam to Lloyds Register classification with +100 A1 Tug (+) LMC UMS notation and features twin forward mounted azimuthing propulsion units with twin skegs aft. Propulsion is provided via two Caterpillar 3516C marine diesel engines, each rated at 2100kW @ 1600 RPM, coupled to Rolls Royce US 255 azimuthing propeller units producing 67 tonnes bollard pull ahead. The main engines are 24v electric start, box cooled and resiliently mounted. Auxiliary power is provided by 2 x Caterpillar C4.4 TA turbocharged diesel engines driving 86 kVA 400V/3 phase/50hZ Leroy Somer alternators. The vessel is also equipped with an independent FiFi pump, driven by a Caterpillar C12 Acert diesel engine which delivers 1200 m3/hr. to the single FiFi monitor. Sleeping and messing accommodation is provided for a crew of 6 in three 2-berth cabins. Air conditioning is provided throughout.
